St. Mary's East Ruston is a closed Church. One service is still held in the church itself every year – a  'Carols by Candlelight' service at Christmastime.  The Churchyard is still open, so burials are allowed.
 
Recently a path has been newly laid from the main road through the north side of the Church and into the "new" burial ground.
This path continues into East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens.  The church is open during the opening times of the gardens.

We have a regular service at 4pm on the 4th Sunday of the month, held in the Village Hall with refreshments afterwards.  Our next service will be on Sunday 22nd January 2012, which will be our 3rd birthday.
