COVID-19 information

Updated information in the latest phase of lifting the lockdown

We are very pleased to say that following Government guidance, our church buildings are now open again for private prayer - Stalham from 10am - 2pm, Ingham from 10am - 3pm and Sutton from 10am-4pm. If you are working during these times and would like to visit, please contact a churchwarden.

From Sunday 6th September there will be services in all three of our working churches, following our old pattern. Service times will be
9.15am at Holy Trinity, Ingham
9.15am at St Michael's Sutton
10.30am at St Mary's, Stalham

Precautions such as social distancing, extra cleaning and hand sanitising will be in place, and sadly at the moment that also means there will be no singing in our services. Face coverings are required other than for those who are exempt.

Ingham will have Holy Communion on the 1st & 3rd Sundays and Morning Prayer on the 2nd & 4th Sundays.

Sutton and Stalham will have Morning Prayer on the 1st & 3rd Sundays and Holy Communion on the 2nd & 4th Sundays.

As a Church we have tried to stay connected and to continue in worship during these last months. A simple service of Morning Prayer has been given out for people to use weekly or daily if they wish to. Our usual weekly news sheet has been expanded to include a reflection from one of our ministry team and prayers from one of our prayer leaders, along with a hymn choice and various other items to make us think or smile.  This will continue for some time in order to support those who are not yet allowed or ready to venture out just yet.

You can find the Church of England's streamed Sunday services here.

For daily prayer, you might want to download the Church of England's Time to Pray app, which is now free - find out more here.

And there are special prayers for the current situation here.

Weddings, Baptisms and Funerals
These are now allowed to take place in church, with a maximum of 30 people attending - however this number is dependent on the size of the church - for St Michael's Sutton, our smallest church building, the maximum would be lower and would also depend on the number of different household groups attending. The number includes the minister and photographer.  Please speak to me for more information.

If you need to talk, please don't hesitate to ring one of the numbers on our contact page.

Every Blessing, Simon
